Access to affordable health care is a fundamental right whether you live in Sioux Falls or St. Lawrence. Our residents deserve high quality health care – including mental health care and rehabilitation services, and the state must commit the adequate funding to ensure its access and provide educational incentives for future practitioners to support it across our state. South Dakota can become a beacon of innovative medical research and unparalleled medical care. But the current process of denying families in need of necessary care will not get us there.
