A ‘Lost Winter’ At The Legislature

Chair’s Note: We all know South Dakota winters can be tough – long and cold and sometimes bleak. And while we could find some good in these long winter months, as Yankton Press & Dakotan points out, our legislature wasted yet another session. With no real fix to education funding, a pass on Medicaid expansion and ignoring constituent voices on issues like the school sentinels bill, the ruling class Republicans in Pierre make these winters down right bitter.
