This past Saturday proved that it is great to be a Democrat in South Dakota. It was a special night where we honored and gave thanks to U.S. Senator Tim Johnson in our “Thank you, Tim” McGovern Day. Thanks to you we hosted the largest McGovern Day to date with over 720 proud democrats giving thanks.
I can’t speak for anyone else who was in attendance but I was moved by the energy, pride, and spirit that filled the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
After listening to dynamic speakers it became evident that there is much more work to do. We must continue to fight for everyday South Dakotans just as Senator Johnson has for over 36 years.
I want to thank everyone who made our “Thank you, Tim” McGovern Day a huge success I hope you thoroughly enjoyed yourself.
