EDITORIAL: Voters right to question judgment

Chairman’s Note: The Rapid City Journal is rightly questioning the Secretary of State’s judgement. Secretary Gant employed a hyper-partisan blogger, let him sell campaign materials to candidates whose elections he was overseeing, then endorsed a candidate whom his employee had sold campaign materials to. Voters must trust the impartial oversight of our elections. Gant broke that trust. Once the trust of the voters is lost, it is tough to regain.
