Daugaard Apologizes For Comments On Election

Chairman’s Note: After Governor Daugaard rammed through his huge corporate giveaway program in 2011 and his disastrous education reform agenda in 2012, folks like you stood up. You circulated petitions, gathered signatures, and gave all South Dakotans a voice on this issue. And the people spoke by rejecting the Daugaard agenda in whole. So how does Daugaard respond? By calling the voters “tired” and “uninformed.” I tell you what – South Dakota voters like you and me are tired of being talked down to by the Governor. It’s long past time for Governor Daugaard to start working with legislators on both sides of the aisle, so we can avoid a referendum altogether.
