Daugaard Hubris Leads to Counterproductive Senate Endorsements

Chairman’s Note: At the same time that Democrats were choosing our next Congressman, Governor Daugaard was watching his endorsed candidates go down in Republican primaries. Governor Daugaard endorsed five Republicans in the primary, and only two won. I hope it’s a humbling experience for the Governor. Just because Daugaard thinks he can get whatever he wants from his rubber stamp Republican legislators doesn’t mean voters will give him whomever Daugaard wants to represent them in Pierre.
