Chairman’s Note: Congresswoman Kristi Noem just can’t let her effort to stop non-existent new farm dust regulations die. Even after the EPA debunked her plan, two editorials in South Dakota panned her idea, and her own Republican Senate co-sponsor abandoned the idea entirely, Kristi Noem still pushed this non-issue during testimony this week instead of focusing on job creation in South Dakota. What a waste of time. She can kick-up an imagined dust storm over this non-issue all she wants, but it’s everyday South Dakotans looking for solutions to real problems instead of Noem’s imagined ones who lose as a result.
