Chair’s Note: When students head back to school this week, the classrooms might have a few less desks filled. Thanks to Representative Kristi Noem 57,000 young children in Head Start will stay home because Noem voted to keep the sequester instead of choosing a balanced approach to the budget that puts our children’s education before huge corporate tax breaks. These reckless hard-line party votes are doing great damage to our children. They’ve got to stop.
