Honoring Veterans – on a Bipartisan Basis

On Veterans Day, we recognize the sacrifices men and women in the armed services have made to protect the freedoms we enjoy everyday. In Custer county, no political party claims a monopoly honoring veterans.

Today, Custer County Democrats & Custer County Republicans are jointly sponsoring refreshments for veterans and guests at the Veterans’ Day program on 11-11-13 at the Custer Armory.

Special thanks to US Marine Dean Kurtz, Custer County Democrats Chair, for teaming up with his Republican counterparts for this special occasion. Our veterans deserve no less.
