Johnson Hears Recommendations for Farm Bill Rewrites

Chairman’s Note: Agriculture is the backbone of South Dakota’s economy, which is why I’m encouraged that Senator Johnson is seeking recommendations from South Dakotans on how we can rewrite the next farm bill to reflect South Dakota priorities. Over 1,000 people have responded to his survey, and already Johnson has introduced bi-partisan legislation to set payment limitations in order to focus more farm support on family farmers.
