Chairman’s Note: The education debate in South Dakota isn’t going away anytime soon. From cities like Rapid City, Aberdeen, and Sioux Falls to small school districts like McLaughlin in north central South Dakota, community leaders are still expressing unease with Governor Daugaard’s radical education agenda. We’re losing good teachers and proven programs of support for our students because of education funding cuts. We shouldn’t have to engage in a controversial debate about anything else.
