Chairman’s Note: Flooding South Dakota with subgrade gasoline isn’t the only example of Governor Daugaard ignoring the laws our state legislature creates. A few weeks ago young man from Sturgis died in a mixed martial arts accident – an accident that didn’t have to occur if Governor Daugaard had appointed members to a boxing commission that Democrats championed and passed in the 2009 legislative session. South Dakota lost one young man’s future simply because the Governor personally objected to a law South Dakota’s elected leaders created. That law expires July 1 if no one is appointed to the commission. Call Governor Daugaard today at 605-773-3212, and tell him to stop putting his personal wishes ahead of the law and safety of our youth.
