Jackley Neglects One Elected Office to Run for Another
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Instead of attending to the business of the office he was elected to, Marty Jackley has held at least 45 campaign events during business hours in 2018 alone according to posts on his social media accounts.
For example, in just the first week of April, Jackley made 6 campaign appearances that either took place during business hours or would have involved travel before 5 PM.
South Dakotans value hard work and doing the job you are hired to do, not skipping work while still collecting a full paycheck from the taxpayers like Marty Jackley has done during this campaign. South Dakotans don’t need a politician who puts their own government career advancement in front of the job they were already elected to do.
