Chairman’s Note: Over the next ten years, South Dakota will add another 41,000 jobs. But in two of the fastest growing sectors – education and healthcare – our state government is effectively discouraging new workers by siphoning tax dollars from our general funds for giveaways to big out of state corporations. South Dakota needs education, healthcare and economic development. But pitting funds for education and healthcare against economic development risks losing both.
